With over a decade of experience in the culinary world, our Head Chef, Daniel Vella McIntyre brings a deep passion for food, refined technique, and a forward-thinking vision to Quadro. After completing several years of formal training at Malta's leading culinary school and earning a degree in Tourism Studies, he went on to further refine his craft at Italy's prestigious Castalimenti and Alma culinary institutes—renowned for shaping some of Europe's finest chefs.
In addition to holding leading roles in high-end hotels and restaurants, one of his most notable achievements was heading the team at Malta's first Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant—an accomplishment that firmly established his reputation for culinary excellence.
Now at the helm of Quadro, a fine dining destination celebrated for its elegant ambiance and innovative cuisine, he is guiding the restaurant into an exciting new chapter. With a recently launched menu that embraces seasonality and sustainability, he is dedicated to showcasing the richness of local produce while crafting dishes that surprise and delight.
